"Mm," Lila agrees after a sip of her drink. Her stomach at least seems to have settled from earlier, but drinking on an empty stomach means she's going to have to take it a little easier despite her earlier bragging. "I'll admit, I missed most of it. Once I discovered what was on my back I spent the week in my apartment."

"Not that it was scandalous," she adds, belatedly realizing how that sounds. "But it wasn't something I wanted advertised to strangers."
